What is the Cost of Excluding God?

Yesterday, we were presented with another senseless act of violence. Gunmen make a decision to enter a church in Richmond, California and start shooting. Just a couple days prior, a professor in Huntsville, Alabama decided to kill some of her colleagues’.
Proverb provides a characterization of a generation: “There is a generation that curseth their father, and doth not bless their mother. There is a generation that are pure in their own eyes, and yet is not washed from their filthiness….There is a generation whose teeth are as swords, and their jaw teeth as knives, to devour the poor from off the earth, and the needy from among men.” The question from this writers view is very simple; are we that generation?
The amount of senseless violence is rampant, more and more women have become the perpetrators. Consider the multiple scams during recent natural disasters and the lack of civility is indeed overwhelming. Maybe it is time to reflect upon what 2Pac described as the definition of Thug life: “The hate you gave little infants F**** everybody. You know what they say, “you lie down with the Devil, and you wake up in hell.” Is this a simple reflection of where society has evolved, or dis-evolved?
